Inspired by motion treatments created a VOX, this pictogram explainer video dives into what I love about design the most; being able to convey human concepts and create emotional impacts that go beyond words. The video provided a great opportunity to learn more about the field using a new documentary collage style that allowed me to challenge myself to think about the unique connections design has in our everyday lives. Through this video, I discovered a new path in the creative process through animatics, helping me understand the thought process it takes to write a compelling story in motion. Overall, this pictogram explainer video taught me the importance of pre-planning, and how solving the problems through rough stages helps reach a more intuitive result that speaks to its original intention.
